About Us

Why Indus Consulting?

We all have been at one point in our lives where you currently are. Deciding to go abroad for education or work is never a simple journey or decision; there are multiple factors that we must consider, given our current circumstances and future ambitions.

Getting to Germany was only the first step; once we were here, navigating everyday life at the start came with its own challenges. Most of us chose Germany because it offers long-term social and economic stability, and to stay here long-term, we had to find jobs that not only allowed us social and economic stability but also helped us start or continue our professional careers.

For people outside the EU, it is always a challenge to figure out the best path to take. There is no one place that has reliable information for our unique cases, and in the rapidly evolving world of rules and regulations, it is not possible for someone who is not part of the system to keep up with the changes.

Most of us had limited financial resources and no knowledge of the programs the universities in Germany offered, how and when to apply for them, how to apply for the visa, and what to do once we landed in Germany.

Testimonials

What They’re Saying

Indus Consulting’s career-focused guidance paved my way to a master’s in Germany. Their mentoring was pivotal as the research I did on my own was definitely not enough; a lot of times, there is incomplete and outdated information available. Without their support, I would not have been able to pick the right academic path.

Muhammad Turab Raza Currently studying MSc Economics at the University of Hohenheim

Indus Consulting’s personalized career mentoring made all the difference. Their guidance and support led me to move from Karachi to Germany in four weeks on the Blue Card. Now I am working in the industry I wanted to. I would recommend talking to people from the industry rather than generic consultants who have no professional experience themselves.

Muhammad Murtaza Hassan Currently working at a Hedge Fund in Hamburg, Germany

Indus Consulting’s mentorship was a game-changer. They tailored career advice to my goals, as I could ask specific questions in the one-on-one sessions that were only for me. By doing this, I ensured that my Master’s program in Germany aligned perfectly with my professional aspirations. Highly recommend their expertise.

Do I Qualify for Vocational Training (Ausbildung)?

Germany’s vocational training, known as “Ausbildung,” employs a dual education system, blending classroom theory with hands-on experience over two to three and a half years. A school leaving certificate equivalent to the German “Hauptschulabschluss” is typically required, along with proficient German language skills. Finding a training position involves direct applications to companies or assistance from vocational schools. Trainees balance theoretical instruction at vocational schools with practical training at workplaces. Qualifications earned are internationally recognized, offering diverse opportunities in fields like engineering, healthcare, and IT. Researching specific entry requirements for chosen professions is crucial for a successful application process.
